We are looking for a Global Sales Expert who will drive development and execution of the Plant Sales Support strategy to profitably grow the global Processing Solutions & Capital Equipment Business.


You will report to the Plant Sales Support and Business Development Manager, based in New Zealand, but your work location is flexible.


The position will require travelling, approximately 15 to 20% of your time.

What you will do
The key objectives for this position will be to maximise competitiveness in our project quotations and increase order intake as well as working to minimise project risk and margin erosion with main focus on large projects.


Key activities include:
Supporting creation of a single Customer facing commercial offer, built up from multiple Tetra Pak entities by working with the pre-project and sales teams. (e.g., Clusters and Business Units).



Ensuring best practice in the pre-project phase, delivering a cohesive and competitive value proposition to our Customers with an accurately quantified risk level for Tetra Pak.



- Support the global organisation to validate and cross-check the value proposition, cost, and price in Customer quotations
- Employ the latest pre-project tools to support the boards in decision making during the pre-project phase.
Acting as a challenger for the technical solution and quotation pricing to give the pre-project team confidence in the robustness of their offer. Participating and supporting in the following areas:

- Sales Strategy
- Costing Review
- Creating shadow calculations
- Technical Solution Review
- Risk Review
- Contract Review
- Benchmarking of pricing against completed projects
- Participation in the PTG2 review


The work comes with a high level of exposure, is demanding and challenging, but offers a great deal of freedom as well.

Who you are
We believe the successful candidate has a University degree in Engineering.
You must have participated in Large Projects in both sales and implementation phases. (From client specification, strategy planning, negotiation and purchase order, through to; implementation, commissioning, and project completion)
A minimum of 10 years’ experience is required
Technical experience in Processing and Packaging, along with Evaporator and Dryer knowledge is preferred.



As a person, you have demonstrated excellent communication skills and you have a proven your ability to manage internal and external relationships in a cooperative, diplomatic, and successful manner. You are an analytical and organized team player, capable of using informal authority to motivate people. You have a strong drive for results and processes with hands on experience of executing changes in a global environment. You are driven and can work independently as required.
A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
