Global Sales, Renewable Resources

But now we want to be even better! We’re looking for a colleague responsible for Global Sales within Renewable Resources for our Business Unit High-Speed Separators. So, what are you going to do today?
The Capital Sales organization in Business Unit High-Speed Separators (HSS) is responsible for the sale of HSS to Food & Life Science customers. We are looking for a colleague to work with HSS for the Renewable Resources part of the business.
Renewable Resources cover industries such as starch, yeast industries, ethanol, and algae. Additionally, the emerging area of biobased processing, including fermentation processes to produce the next generation of alternative proteins, is included in this group’s responsibilities.
About the job
As responsible for Global Sales of HSS within Renewable Resources, you will drive the business in your region, in close collaboration with colleagues in Sales Companies. You will implement and follow up the business plan and assist Sales Companies in their market planning, as well as establishing and achieving their forecast goals.
Your responsibilities will also, among other things, include:
* Support all stages of the sales process, technically and commercially
* Participate in customer meetings
* Follow up sales performance
* Expand and distribute application know-how internally via training courses and externally via customer visits, seminars and exhibitions
* Follow market trends
* Provide input to product improvements and new product development
* Drive product launches
* Interface and cooperate with other Business Unit functions, such as Service, Engineering & Supply, R&D and Operations Manufacturing
A big part of the work will involve interfacing and dealing with international customers from different industries, countries, and cultures. The job will be focused on the HSS system sales to Renewable Resources customers so an understanding of their perspective and demands is an advantage.
Who are you?
We are looking for an experienced person with business acumen and commercial drive. The right candidate has a university degree in engineering or business, and relevant product and/or industry experience. Moreover, it is essential that you have keen consultative and communicative capabilities. You have high personal integrity and create confidence with people. You have a creative approach to problem solving, and a practical, down-to-earth, hands-on approach that secures execution.
Further requirements include:
* You have a good understanding of commercial contracts and negotiations
* You are customer oriented with a strong commercial interest, always driving to exceed expectations
* You communicate with ease and successfully build internal and external relations
* You are fluent in English

Practicalities
