Regional Business Manager

BU Marine Separation & Heat Transfer Equipment (MSH) - Service is responsible for all after sales business in Marine and Engine Power applications. It covers spare parts, retrofit, upgrading and services.
Alfa Laval holds a strong market position in this highly competitive and international market. We will take the next step to further strengthen our position, with a Regional Business Manager, to continue to create outstanding customer experiences together with our Sales Companies for a Region.
About the job
We have a clear objective to fully support our Sales Companies to become successful and more competitive, by adding value to their business. The goal is to contribute to sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.
Key tasks:
* Sales company competence development and implementing ‘best practices’
* Driving the growth plans and ensuring that the plan is supported by actions and resources
* Key Account Management
* Support and promotion of the complete Service portfolio
* Setting, following-up and reporting on targets and actions
* Gathering information on market development and competition
* Capture and feed-back market needs to further improve our competitiveness
What you know
You will be joining a team of skilled and highly motivated colleagues, in a fast-moving business in dynamic market. You have:
* Strong business acumen
* Marine business experience
* Proven track record within Sales, at least 5-6 years
* Technical understanding within mechanical or marine industry
* Passion for Service business
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to recognize opportunities, from customers’ needs and turn them solutions
Who you are
You act in an outgoing role where you reach out to many parts of the organization as well as engage in discussions with customers, taking ownership of the business.
You can sell our offerings – and of course, you have the drive and passion about the business and the portfolio in order to succeed.

Practicalities
The RBM will be based in Tumba, Sweden, reporting to the Manager of Global Service Sales in Tumba. Expected number of travel days is approx. 50 days/year.
