We are now looking for a Global Solution Manager to join our System & Services department.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Global Solution Manager you will have the main responsibility within product management for implementing the go-to-market strategy for Axis’ software solutions. You will be an important driver for the entire life cycle - from strategic planning to tactical activities.

You will work with the team of Product Managers responsible for Axis’ software solutions to define the business plan for each solution. In close collaboration with Sales and Marketing, you will contribute to the development of the solution go-to-market strategy. You will also work closely with Sales and Marketing to establish the tools and partnerships needed to take our solutions to the market. Your main responsibility will be to drive and support the sales regions in their roll-out of the solutions to ensure the go-to-market strategy is implemented.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Contribute in the definition of the solution business plans.
* Contribute in the development of the go-to-market strategy for Axis’ software solutions.
* Drive regional go-to-market projects in cooperation with sales, e.g. to develop/establish channels to the market or support channel sales with new tools or promotions.
* Actively develop new solutions that grow the business area together with our Technology Product Partners and Global System Integrators, e.g. create global solution bundles.
* Take an active part in market and sales activities to promote our solutions.
* Inform and train the sales force at new software solution launches.

Travelling will be required > 60 days a year.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in this position, you must have broad experience from business, marketing and technology, preferably from the video surveillance industry. We also believe that you have:

* A university degree
* At least 10 years of working experience
* Strong technical background
* Documented experience from working with solutions close to the market
* Worked with business or market intelligence
* Excellent understanding of business and market dynamics
* Excellent understanding of the competition and market needs
* International experience preferably from an global environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English
* Knowledge about Video Management Systems.
* Strong presentation skills
* Knowledge about Axis software solutions and cameras is considered an advantage.

You have the ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with international contacts. When solving tasks and issues you do this in a structured way, yet you have a flexible mindset and are always open to change as well as to your customers and coworkers. You drive things forward using your excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. You enjoy a high pace environment and are never afraid to dig in – leading by doing.

THE SYSTEM & SERVICES DEPARTMENT
System & Services is globally responsible for the service offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for capabilities and software solutions, design and coordination responsibility for service and support offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. Software Solutions is one out of six groups within System & Services.
