The position
The role of the Global Sourcing Manager is to develop strategic supplier relationships and interaction with our external suppliers. We aim to increase customer satisfaction and add sustainable value to our company by securing supply of products and services.
Main tasks:

• Ensure that purchasing policies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets to enable the company to function and compete effectively in the market
• Develop category strategies for the purchasing of materials and services used in the business
• Maintain relationships with suppliers while continually searching for and qualifying additional suppliers
• Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders and colleagues
• Work closely together with the company legal department to make sure contracts and terms are favorable
• Develop risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages
• Manage, coach, and develop a high performing purchasing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
• Set departmental objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports

As responsible for Global Sourcing, you contribute to fulfilling company visions, targets, and values according to Roxtec Core Values. It is also your responsibility to practice good cooperation within Global Sourcing with regional and global colleagues to guarantee a successful cross-country cooperation.

You will report to EVP Global Operations. The employment is at the headquarters in Karlskrona and international business travel is included in the role.

Qualifications

• University degree with at least 3 years of education or equivalent.
• Several years working experience in project and/or personnel leading positions.
• Relevant industry background within the business area and similar/comparable business model.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes and execution.
• Ability to add value, reduce total cost and make business improvements.
• Contract management and supplier experience.
• Good knowledge within sales and business development.
• Manage spoken as well as written English and Swedish.

As a person, you are self-driven and have a strategic and executive mindset. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to coach and influence your environment. It is also important that you are flexible and well organized with an ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment. You have a humble attitude and are open-minded.
