We’re now looking for someone to join our Sandvik Coromant Procurement team – joining us in this position you get to work with development and in close collaboration with internal customers and stakeholders, as well as external suppliers. Your mission
In this role, you develop subcategories with a focus on direct material and sourcing plans that align with our company targets. You play a significant part for the Global Category Manager teams in establishing and managing relationships with key stakeholders and the onboarding of our suppliers. In addition, you lead, prepare, propose and participate in sourcing projects and cases which includes supplier selection and creation of contracts.
You report to our Head of Category Management and work closely with Global Category Manager and cross-functional teams. This necessitates concrete communication and cooperation with our R&D teams and together with our business as well as production units.
The right candidate can choose to work from Sandvik Coromant Head Office in Sandviken, Sweden, or any of the locations where Sandvik Coromant has production units, as well as Schmalkalden or Renningen in Germany and Katowice, Poland. Flexible working conditions are possible part-time and domestic as well as international travel are included in the job.


Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience working in a similar role. You’re a proven, skillful negotiator and have a passion for purchasing. Preferably, you have experience in project management and an interest in systems. We find it highly beneficial if you have a Silf certification or equivalent diploma. As we act on the global scene, you master the English language, both verbally and written. It’s also beneficial to this position if you’re proficient in Swedish or any other language.
Your personality is of utmost importance to us – you're an outgoing person with an analytical and strategic approach. Trustful relationships are something of value to you, and through communication, you build and strengthen internal and external connections. Complementing this is your drive for results and your willingness to adapt in an ever-changing business setting.
