About the job

Based in Scandinavia, you will become strategically responsible for one of the sub-commodity groups within “Raw Materials - metals” at a global level. The area of responsibility for this position lies in the range of 60-80 M€ annually. International travel required is estimated to be 40-50 days per year.

Key tasks for the position include:
* Securing a competitive sourcing of Alfa Laval’s needs.
* Securing quality, delivery, cost, compliance and contract coverage.
* Creating new opportunities, negotiating and maintaining commercial agreements ensuring long-term relationships.
* Close collaboration with global suppliers as well as our factories, distribution centers, the global and local purchasing network and product centers.

What you know

To succeed in this position, it is essential that you have extensive international experience within purchasing with multi-site collaboration. Furthermore, you have substantial negotiating skills and experience with a complex product portfolio will be an advantage.

Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written is a prerequisite. Additionally, one of the Scandinavian languages will be an advantage.
