As Global Strategic Sourcing Manager (GSSM) you are responsible for continuously improving and re-evaluating sourcing activities of the Roxtec Group, when it comes to increasing profitability, improving performance and minimizing risk.The area of responsibility includes both the global strategic purchasing and our production sites outside Karlskrona.Objectives are reduced costs in combination with high and stable quality and service levels at all times. Besides managing and developing the organization, processes and the co-workers, you will in this position also actively take part in the work with the RFQ-process, supplier development, supplier evaluation and agreement negotiations on the global scene.Other important tasks include responsibility for supplier and products/technologies selections av well as building and managing commercial relationships with suppliers. QUALIFICATIONS You have a university degree or corresponding competence and extensive work experience from sourcing, supply chain management and logistics.Leadership experience in an international environment and project management skills are required.Experience from China and India is considered as an additional qualification. To be successful, you will need to work across the organisation and challenge the normal way things are done: the cooperation with other Roxtec colleagues are essential for this work to be a success. You are self motivated in successful times and in times of hard pressures and failures - with a heathy self confidence.Excellent language skills in written and spoken English and Swedish are required. The GSSM reports directly to Vice President Global Services, Roxtec Group.The position is based in Karlskrona, Sweden and will require frequent travelling.
