We are currently recruiting for a Global Strategy and Business Development Manager, Wound Care. This role can be situated at HQ in Gothenburg, from one of our offices around Europe or remotely in Europe. this role you will be responsible for:
Supporting the Global Director Strategy and Business Development, Wound Care in helping coordinating inputs on the Wound Care strategy, portfolio strategy and buy/build plan and refining those over time, thereby providing clarity to the entire Wound Care Business Area; also supporting the planning and execution of those strategies
Supporting the Global Director Strategy and Business Development, Wound Care in coordinating the Business Development strategy, thereby enabling significantly faster Wound Care revenue and profit growth


Key Accountabilities:
Strategy
Conduct interviews with internal and external stakeholders to inform strategic choices
Design and deliver analysis to support strategic choices
Facilitate strategic workshops and conversations (both breakout groups and full group, as appropriate)
Prepare presentation material for Wound Care Leadership Team, Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors
Project manage execution of strategic priorities


Business Development
Design and deliver analysis on which areas are most attractive
Maintain longlist of targets within prioritized areas
Proactively source targets from geographical leaders and from the field
Prepare presentation material for Wound Care Leadership Team, Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors

Where relevant and appropriate:
Lead initial engagement with selected targets to understand their openness to acquisition or partnership
Project manage incubation of new services


Capabilities, Qualifications & Experience :
University education required, ideally in Business or a Science subject (alternatives can be considered given work experience). Masters or MBA will be an added advantage
Ideally a minimum of 3 years of experience as a consultant or in a similar role in the life science sector
Ability to develop good relationships and network across the organization as well as to engage with senior stakeholders
Good analytical skills and detail orientation i.e. able to make a structured light financial assessment with some logical assumptions, more than being able to crunch a familiar dataset
Ability to autonomously design, conduct and check simple analyses and comfort with PowerPoint
Project management skills and the ability to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive to completion - i.e. able to create, and deliver on, a plan for a team to deliver an outcome
Ability to manage cross-functional projects and teams and comfortable holding people to account for execution (or the building blocks thereof)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Facilitation skills (or the building blocks thereof)
Good business acumen
Strategic view – “what could be” vs. “what is”; questioning and curious
Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible mindset to adapt to a constantly changing environment; a high degree of independence, energy, drive and initiative
Fluent English
