Main activities and responsibilities:


Supplier Quality
Strategize key goals to be accomplished on short & long term within VBC SQ group
Set the goals with the SQ platform within VBC and arrive at an alignment and consensus to deploy it globally
Monitor and communicate the actions for the strategy implementation together with team and report the developments
Be a pivot point of connecting SQ Managers in Volvo Bus to have a common alignment in the way of working
Establish the communication plans, organizational learning needs and key performance indicators that will drive a high performance towards our customers and ensure that Quality is in our DNA.
Support and coordinate the different governance forums with the SQ community



Field Quality
Develop a governance model to monitor and secure all Purchasing deliverables within field quality projects
Develop the way we involve our suppliers early in quality projects
Implement and drive new ways of measure our suppliers quality performance
Analyze Market Quality Reports from a supplier aspect and drive root cause analysis
Be an active member in various quality forums
Help drive and align the Purchase SQD work in our different business regions
Help developing the PU Quality strategies within Volvo Buses



Required Knowledge and Experience:
Solid knowledge of Supplier Base and Purchasing proceses
Excellent ability to support escalation and drive for results
Excellent communication skills
Experience in driving change
Excellent Change Management Skills
Used to work in a truly global environment



Key deliverables


Supplier Quality
Derive strategies for SQ within VBC based VBC set priorities & benchmark within Volvo Group
Formulate actions for the strategies implementation driven through workshop & within VBC SQ Group
Be able to maneuver strategies and actions based on VBC Business dynamics to be able to effectively & efficiently contribute to achieve targeted Operating Margin
Create the communication plans that support organizational learning needs and
Derive Key Performance Indicators for the SQ community that are aligned with the SQ Managers.
Support and coordinate the material for the different governance forums with the SQ community



Field Quality
Secure PU representation in field quality forums and be a part of initial analysis of market issues
Cascading the issues within GBP, GTP (Buyers / SQEs) to let them know the issue in their areas and drive root-cause analysis to render final solution to customers
Ensure Purchase deliverables aids to reduce overall lead time of solving field issues
Highlight as and when needed to the Volvo Management for gaining support if roadblocks seen
