To further invest in our future, we are now hiring a Global Supply chain and Demand Planner – Antiseptics. In this role you will travel a minimum of 10 %.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
We are in search for a Global Supply Chain and Demand Planner – Antiseptics to join our evolving Antiseptics Business division In Molnlycke. Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Planning & Demand Planning Manager, you ensure that Sales Forecast, Net Requirements, and Supply Plan for the Antiseptics Business Area, emphasis on APAC & EMEA regions being balanced and in line with the global principles. This role also needs to ensure that customers’ demands are met by developing a robust short- and long-term demand plan and a monthly supply plan for the Antiseptics Business Area, primarily APAC & EMEA regions with secondary support of USB & USE regions. Plan and manage the supply chain in such way that supports optimization of the global supply chain performance and ensure product availability in line with applicable targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop the robust short- and long-term demand plan and conduct monthly demand forecast maintenance for Business Area Antiseptics, APAC & EMEA to best meet customer demands, while driving forecasting improvements by applying best practices, utilizing statistical forecasting and enriching the baseline forecast with all relevant input from customers, Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, Finance and other relevant functions
Lead local demand reviews and take an active role in other relevant S&OP (MBM) reviews, including follow up that plans are executed as agreed and in alignment with agreed targets.
Expert in interpreting demand data from APAC & EMEA markets and creating various scenarios to identify impacts of demand changes, new product launches, promotions, and phase-in/phase-out.
Ensure proactive, timely and accurate communication to key stakeholders across the value chain to mitigate any risks and facilitate timely decisions as needed.
Proactively identify potential supply risks and define alternative mitigation scenario (e.g. what-if scenarios).
To define, set and control relevant planning and planning parameters in related systems and applications to achieve system health and business targets.
Ensure delivery performance and product availability while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and optimize costs in line with targets.
Monitor, analyze and report on key KPIs like forecast accuracy, e.g. BIAS, PLIX (Planning Index), to evaluate forecast results and demand trends, OLC, OLA, BO, Tied up capital / inventory to support the monthly S&OP (MBM) cycle.
Creative problem solving for complex Supply & Demand Planning Challenges.
Influence and lead Commercial and Operations Teams
towards alignment of Supply & Demand.
Secondary support for all Supply & Demand planning activities for USB & USE regions.
To act as an integrator along the value chain by ensuring effective co-ordination and
Communication of availability issue resolution in tactical and operational planning horizons and influencing on decision making on trade-offs within Operations function, with Commercial function, Finance function and Innovation & Technology function.
To monitor, analyze and report performance of the e-2-e Supply Chain in order to identify deviations and solve, develop actions plans and/or escalate these issues for the assigned assortments.
To represent supply chain planning in supply chain design, implementation of new product launches and new market entries to ensure optimal time to market and product availability for product portfolio
To contribute actively to target setting (OLC, OLA, BO, e2e inventory, forecast accuracy, supply plan adherence) and support continuous improvement activities within the assigned assortment to achieve service levels, productivity targets and business performance throughout the Supply Chain

Approval of the supply master plan and execution of purchasing from CMO partners.
SAP ECC/APO/SNP SCP parameters settings for own assortment for US plants.
DC replenishments (stock balance)
Allocation of critical components, raw materials.
Decisions taken jointly:
Supply priorities – with Commercial function
Initial stock build (Launch – New markets or business ...) – with relevant people in the Operations and Commercial function and with Global Supply & Demand Planning Manager-Antiseptics
Actions on slow moving and obsolete stock – with Finance, Marketing & Markets
Airfreight according to business rules and with Global Supply & Demand Planning Manager-Antiseptics
Communicates with manufacturing operations personnel to coordinate supply levels and assist in establishing production priorities to ensure most efficient and cost effective purchasing.
Set-up of Safety stock/ Safety Time/ Coverage with Global Supply & Demand Planning Manager
Actions needed to resolve critical supply situations - with relevant people in the Operations and Commercial function.
Performs and participates in special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
University degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics or related field of study from an accredited college/university is required (or 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree).
5+ years related experience and knowledge of consumer product logistics, intercompany stock transfers, forecasting and inventory planning.
Knowledge of operations management, general business administration, and inventory control procedures.
Experienced and skilled user of planning tools (SAP APO- module), transactional tool (SAP MM) and reporting tools (Cognos, MS Excel).
Excellent level of both written and spoken English, the corporate language. Preferably also have a good knowledge of Swedish (relevant for position in Gothenburg).
Experience in working in an international, multicultural environment.
