As a Global Supply Chain Merchandiser, you will be part of Monkis Retail team working to maximize, improve, encourage and build for the future every day, all day. As a team member, you will play an important role in moving the company towards its highly set goals, the Monki way. In this position you will have a shared responsibility together with your team for all stores globally.
This is a fast-paced role where you will have a wide range of touchpoints with several functions within the company. We believe that you will bring commercial eyes, analytical skills, retail insights, salesmanship (or saleswomanship!), organizing skills and coaching abilities to this position. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Setting the allocation and replenishment strategy together with the Head of Merchandising to secure that selling is optimized in all our markets
Identify quantitative selling opportunities by weekly and monthly follow-ups, set strategies, initiate actions, and drive them together with the Merchandising Team.
Developing new ways of working, developing tools and reports within Merchandising to become more insightful, demand-driven, and locally relevant.
Supporting Head of Merchandising to drive the buying strategy.
Being an informal leader responsible to develop team members by sharing knowledge, providing training opportunities, coaching, having follow ups and delegating responsibility.
Affecting the supply chain setup and communicate with the logistics department on a weekly level to make sure that their activity supports the selling and stock goals in the market.
Doing logistic follow-ups to ensure efficiency and reaching set goals
Supporting and challenging the Merch teams with analysis on stock, income, buying levels etc.
Performing Ad hoc analyses, identifying opportunities to strengthen the customer offer and identify selling potential.
Identifying and proposing actions to keep a balanced stock and stock freshness and initiating and following up on stock actions.
Being the main contact point towards our logistic departments in supply chain related topics.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role we also see that you:
Have 3-5 years of experience from merchandising, controlling or similar, preferable within the retail industry
Have a degree in business, economics or similar.
Are data driven with strong analytical skills and can interpret results and act on discovered potentials always with the customer first in mind.
Have informal leadership experience or leadership capabilities and are a natural team player with straightforward communication skills.
Have a strategic mindset and easily see the bigger picture at the same time understanding the details.
Have strong prioritization skills and a problem-solving attitude.
Are curious and excited about finding and testing new ways to optimize our customer offer and selling.
Are a driven, structured, and self-motivated team player who successfully takes own initiatives to drive business and gladly supports the team and shares your knowledge.
Have excellent Excel skills and skills within Power BI are meritorious.
Have excellent skills in English. Both in writing and speaking are a necessity.
Additional information
This is a full-time assignment based in Gothenburg at Monki's HQ, and you will report to Global Head of Merchandising.
