Global Supply Chain Planner

Adecco is now searching on behalf of customer an experienced Global Supply Chain Planner.The position is located at an international company in Lund.You will be part of a SCM planning group with 20 skilled and motivated colleagues.Central position with global responsibility Reporting to the Global Supply Chain Manager you will be managing a challenging and important product group.The Global Supply Chain Planner will primarily be measured on performance reducing inventory levels while maintaining high product availability.Tasks 1.Planning and placing orders to suppliers for your own product lines 2.Prepare and facilitate the Sales & Operations Planning meeting 3. Set and meet goals for your product group 4. Analysis for improvements throughout the global supply chain 5.Close collaboration with Suppliers either internal or external, Marketing and Sales 6.Key Performance measurement and reporting Candidate You have experience from a similar position from which you can document results contributing to the bottom line.Planning skills and knowledge of how supply chains can be optimized are essentials.You work hard to achieve your goals in collaboration with colleagues and suppliers.Your energy is inspiring your colleagues.You work well on your own and can argument for your point of view and have good communication skills. Other: It is essential that you feel comfortable using English in both written form and speech.Skills in German, French or Italian are an advantage. Education: An Academic degree with a direction towards Economics, Engineering or Logistics.Computer-skills: Very good, preferably from planning-tool i2 and/or SAP/R3.
