Join Us
Epiroc is currently looking for an experienced leader with a strong background in the supply chain to join us as a Manager of Global Supply Hub Europe. The Global Supply Hubs manage the inbound flow and planning of Global Parts from external suppliers within the region into the Global Distribution Centers and Regional Distribution Centres located globally. The objective of the Global Supply Hub is to reduce the transport costs between different regions, optimize the supply/distribution flows and ensure supply from external suppliers.
The role will be reporting to a Global Supply Hub & Transportation Manager.
Mission
The mission in this role is to manage all information flows related to the global supply and distribution setup of global parts from suppliers in Europe into the Supply Chain network. Focus areas of the role will be:
* People Management: Managing Global Supply Hub Europe team (7 members)
* Coordinate inbound volumes with suppliers: Organizing supplier co-planning meetings, managing and supporting forecast, monitoring supplier performance KPIs and driving improvement activities, reporting full supplier picture to S&OP for the ability to supply and others.
* Allocation of supply: Allocating constrained parts and executing supplier demand allocation within the network
* Set up of supply flow for global parts from supplier to Distribution Centres: Deciding inbound replenishment path within the region and optimizing physical inbound and outbound flows
* Supplier performance development: Leading supplier performance development activities, overseeing packaging optimization activities, educating suppliers on how delivery performance is measured and how orders are handled, working on total lead team optimization and other
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you should have a University Degree in the supply chain, logistics, operations, or related area and min. of 5 years of experience in global end-to-end supply chain management (including distribution, inventory management and project management). You have a strong understanding of all modes of transportation for international transport and an ability to develop supplier relationships. You are an experienced leader with a track record of managing people in a global context with a good mix of strategic, tactical and operational management.

This role requires a lot of global contacts (internal and external), therefore strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary. Additional languages and an MBA education are considered a plus.

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro or Fagersta and can be performed in a hybrid way. The exact split between on-site and remote work is up to further agreement. In case a candidate from a different country applies and is successful, Swedish local terms and conditions will apply.
