Job description
We are now looking for a Global Technical Service Manager to support our absolute ambition to consistently deliver outstanding service and support to our customers. The ownership of a CAKE bike should become an equally unforgettable experience as riding a CAKE motorbike for the first time. The Global Technical Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that customers are served with a best-in-class experience in terms of care and interaction, level of expertise, and speed in all technical and service aspects.
In this exciting role, you will be building and managing the global technical service function, which includes establishing regional service partners, setting up customer self-service functions, and providing internal and external training, education, and support. Initially the role will be more hands on, as you build the service department your focus will be directed towards holistic perspectives. You will manage two direct reports and will be responsible for continuously building a successful team.
Your responsibilities:
• Establish fast and efficient ways to collect internal and external feedback on technical challenges and product performance.
• Collect, analyze, and drive needed actions to solve customer technical problems.
• Structure, filter, and advance feedback into Product Development and Operations for improvements and rectifications.
• Define and develop the structure and organization to build a best-in-class technical service function for CAKE globally.
• Define and implement the required structure to provide superior service to our customers on a global basis.
• Define and track important KPI’s for the area of responsibility.
To succeed in the role, you should be highly flexible and versatile. You can handle both hands-on tasks as well as have a business/strategic mindset. You are used to and enjoy working in a dynamic, high-paced environment. Since this role will have interactions with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally, you are able to effectively and comfortably communicate both verbally and in written forms. You have a customer-oriented mindset and experience of delivering outstanding service performance.
Experience and skills
• +10 years of work experience from technical and/or service roles
• Work experience as global manager / leader
• Relevant university degree or equivalent work experience
• Understanding and experience of working with diverse cultures.
• Experience of building systematic system processes (CRM).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Hands-on approach with a business-driven mindset.
