What will you be doing?
In the role of GTM, you will inspire, engage and lead our team and technology. Together with colleagues and group members, you are working to coach, support and provide our teams and engineers with the tools needed to deliver world class autonomous solutions.


Since we are working in a field of new technology and solutions, you will have the fantastic opportunity to find the right balance between existing Volvo processes and tools and combine them with the latest solutions on the market for our tools.


You will be responsible for guiding the way towards the vision you create to take these solutions and connect them to create a bigger, interconnected ecosystem. As our next leader you will also set the roadmap and objectives for our organization and act as servant leader to get our team there. We are unified by diversity, great ideas and inclusiveness.


Who are you?
We believe you are a leader with interest to engage and motivate others, working to build the teams with capacity and capability, making the most of individual talents. As this job is all about collaboration, we believe you need to be a good listener, communicator and that it is easy for you to connect with other people.


You will cover a wide span of processes, from very detailed in one specific technology area to processes involving also other Business Areas in the Volvo Group. We therefore value your ability to understand new contexts, products, and solutions quickly and efficiently while being able to prioritize with a structured approach. You’re probably also open to work in a completely new context where we together are the motivators to make the future of automated transport solutions happen. As our business area is new you need to share our positive spirit, curiosity for new technology, tools and way of working and want to take it to the next level.


As this is highly international role, we believe that you are proficient in English, both written and spoken. We also see experience with automotive and particularly autonomous mobility toolset is beneficial, as is experience with simulation technologies, data management and software tools. However, we believe your potential, personality and mindset to gain these capabilities is more important than having them today.
