About the position:
This is more than just a new role - it's your chance to create and shape an innovative telecommunication system from the ground up within a prestigious global company, with 334 years of heritage and innovation.
As Husqvarna Group's Global Telephony Owner, you'll spearhead our telecommunication strategy, ensuring seamless and secure communications across all divisions. This vital role allows you to shape our new VOIP telecommunication framework, aligning it with our strategic objectives and the latest in technology.
The role is new to Husqvarna Group and the first years will be to build up cloud based VOIP telecommunication services, utilizing Microsoft Teams platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a telecommunication strategy in line with company goals.
Stay updated on telephony tech for competitive edge.
Manage telephone infrastructure design, integration, and maintenance.
Monitor system performance, optimize metrics and meet SLAs.
Set requirements against the network organization and ensure compliance requirements.
Manage budgets, track expenses and optimize costs.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with IT teams and external stakeholders for system integration.
Ensure seamless communication between telephony and business platforms.
About you:
For this role, we're looking for someone who understands telecommunication technologies like PBX systems, VoIP, SIP and their reliance on networking. Whether you’re currently at a consulting firm specializing in telephony solutions or have hands-on experience deploying such solutions from a similar company to ours, your expertise will be crucial.
You're a dynamic leader, skilled in driving digital transformation and change within Telephony and Collaboration Operations. Effective communication skills are necessary for collaborating with teams and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You prioritize meeting the communication needs of our stakeholders – and are fluent in English (Swedish is a plus).
Furthermore, you possess a good understanding of budgeting and financial analysis, enabling you to optimize costs while achieving objectives.
Location
Preferred location for this position is in Sweden (Huskvarna, Jonsered or Stockholm). But, with our hybrid working environment, you will have the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely, promoting work-life balance for all team members. We meet in the office at least 2-3 days a week.
