Continuing to invest in our future, we are looking to hire a Global Transport Developer, to be based in our Gothenburg head office.
This is a varied role aimed at ensuring excellence in transportation of our products, both in and out of our distribution centres.
You will be responsible for continuous improvement projects with our transportation partners, looking at increasing efficiencies and quality of service. Through analyzing the data on KPI achievements you will suggest improvements and lead projects to implement them.
When Mölnlycke engage with new suppliers of transportation services, you will be responsible during the bid process for ensuring they have the required standards, information and equipment necessary to meet their commitments. You will also work with them on establishing KPIs and achieving them.
You will also have an overview of our global logistics infrastructure, and where there are structural and recurring problems or obstacles to overcome, you will use root cause analysis to identify and then rectify those issues.
Responsibilities:
Ensure excellent, structured and scalable logistics services with solid infrastructure and processes
Run projects and continuous improvement programs
Provide support and guidance for the Commercial Logistics Managers in tender evaluation and selection (road, sea and air freight)
Drive and coordinate the implementation of new transport solutions together with the selected suppliers and the local market
Develop the operational agenda and objectives with freight suppliers
Stakeholder management, ensure timely and accurate updates on status and progress to both colleagues and external partners
Profile:
Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or commensurate work experience
3+ years experience working in Logistics
Structured and analytical approach
Project Management experience
Continuous Improvement experience (Lean principles)
Strong stakeholder management skills
English language is required due to the international nature of the role
SAP / ERP experience
