We are currently recruiting for a Global Transport Developer to join the Global Control Tower team at our HQ in Gothenburg.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Global Transport Developer will ensure solid high quality performance for transportation related setups. Providing internal/external customer satisfaction regarding structure, service offer functionality and developments. Securing efficient structured setup for transportation that is continuously developed supporting end to end supply chain activities. Managing strong relationships with high satisfaction of key stakeholders regarding developments and projects.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Someone with a 3-5 year logistic background who is used to working in an international environment. You have a bachelor degree within logistics, supply chain management or similar, and documented project management experience. You are analytical, structured and have great communication skills (minimum English). You are experienced within continuous improvement, network design, supplier management, logistics operations and operational excellence. You have good IT skills and are used to working with Microsoft Office (outlook, excel, word, teams) and SAP/ERP applications.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
To deliver activities within logistics providing excellent service through the value chain and to end customers.
To run projects and coordinate improvement activities within transport, reaching expected results and beyond.
To secure that Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP) are set up with transporters and that agreed activities are executed according to contractual terms and improvements are realized.
To deliver structured scalable service solutions out of agreed roadmap of logistic service offer structure.
To update the content and structure of Standard Operating Procedures for transporters.
To support Logistics commercial managers in tender preparation, evaluation and selection (air sea and road) and drive implementation of new transport solutions.
To find continuous improvements through lean methodology (such as A3) that generates increased quality, decreased cost, saved time or improved service.
