We are currently recruiting for a Global Transport Developer to join the Global Logsitics, Procurement, Customs and Transport development team at our HQ in Gothenburg.

In this role you will:
Continuously optimize existing transport set-ups for the most cost and lead time efficient solution
Design and optimize transportation set-ups in cross-functional teams
Lead implementations of new logistics suppliers
Support sourcing activities
Extract, structure, analyse & visualize large transport data sets in order to implement opportunities
Support sustainability projects according to set targets
Continuous improvement Programs


Key Accountabilities:
To deliver activities within logistics providing excellent service through the value chain and to end customers.
To run projects and coordinate improvement activities within transports reaching expected results and beyond.
To secure that Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP) are set up together with logistics suppliers and that agreed activities are executed according to contractual terms and improvements are realized.
To update the content and structure of Standard Operating Procedures for logistics suppliers
To ensure that the logistic service capabilities are developed with solid infrastructure, solution and process.
To provide support and guidance for Logistics commercial manager’s in tender preparation work, tender evaluation and tender selection (air, sea and road)
To drive and coordinate implementation of new transport solutions (air, sea and road) together with selected suppliers and local market
To develop and lead appropriate supplier/cross functional forums to develop and promote proposals for innovation and/or process improvement
To establish and continuously develop relationships with key stakeholders and ensure timely structured updates on status and progress is provided.

Ability to adapt to constraints imposed by operations (deadlines, urgencies, etc.)
Communication skills in English
IT knowledge:
SAP / ERP application
Microsoft Office: Outlook/Excel/Word/Skype



Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum bachelor degree within supply chain management or similar
Documented project management experience
Analytical and monitoring skill set is required
Experience from work with continuous improvement
3-5 years of extensive experience working for or with logistic providers
