We're now looking for a customer-obsessed Global Transport Manager experienced in B2C transports.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Your work is to oversee, streamline and develop transport processes to increase DW's sales and customer experience, with costs in mind. That means you will work and set strategies in how we can enhance our customer satisfaction, especially in our B2C transports, but let's not forget our B2B flows that need love too. In this role, you will handle supplier contracts and monitor suppliers’ service levels. With that, you will continuously work to improve existing processes and routines and monitor transport complaints. The supervision of the inbound supply chain is also an important part of the job.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Be the main point of contact and expertise for transportation topics in the organization
- Be the main speaking partner to the E-com department for B2C transport discussions
- Be responsible for and negotiate transportation contracts
- Monitor and secure transport processes for all channels and for the returns to optimize the customer experience
- Setup new transport methods for all channels (Online, retail, wholesale and inbound)
- Plan capacity and forecast for all channels
- Collect data and follow up on the DW's transport costs and budget
- Follow-up KPI in your area and deliver results accordingly
- Update and follow-up on standard operating procedures concerning transportation
- Drive improvements, efficiencies, and daily management with external transport partners
- Monitor and set up transport booking processes and systems
- Customs processes
WHO YOU ARE
- Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience within transport management
- BSc/MSc in a relevant area, or corresponding professional experience
- Understanding of International Trade, Compliance and Customs regulations
- Outstanding knowledge of B2C transportation
- Excellent knowledge of export and import processes
- Customer-focused
- Structured and organized
- Good communication skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Good project management skills
- Fluent in English and Swedish
