Global Vice President of Finance (CFO) - Seco Tools

Leading the Seco global finance community of around 140 employees, means working in truly global and innovative arena. We are spread across 40 countries and 65 reporting entities, and you get to connect with brilliant minds as you build a strong and cohesive finance organization aiming to support our ambitious objectives.


Your mission – create transparency and guide us towards success
Joining us in this position, you work closely with our President and the management team, and you support and advise the business in strategic matters to enable successful decision making. To drive continuous improvements, you take lead in both planning and execution, and you challenge us in setting targets and in prioritizing what initiatives we need to make to stay on top of the game - such as M&As, portfolio management, cost base optimization and sales opportunities. You also look at financial trends and possible impacts to the business, and by making numbers talk, you clearly communicate risks and lead the way in necessary actions.


Acting in a global business environment with diverse cultural and economic challenges, you are the number one promoter of excellent collaborations. For us, this means working closely with our controllers and other members of our finance organization to enable true understanding and accuracy in figures, details and plans; and by doing so, you set the scene for a successful future. You are a brave and inspiring leader for the finance team, and by connecting people, processes and financial insights, you make sure we are the best possible business partner.


As Vice President of Finance, you are also an active member of our Executive Management team and you report directly to the President of Seco Tools. Preferred location for this position is at our headquarters in Fagersta, Sweden, and international travel is included in your job.


Your character – a courageous, proactive and networking influencer
We are looking for someone with a relevant degree, strong business acumen and a solid CFO background of managing companies within a corporate environment. You have at least ten years’ experience from working in a progressive business or finance setting, and you’re skilled in leading the way and managing stakeholders in large, international and multicultural organizations. As a master in your field, you have both the confidence and the ability to challenge, influence and guide decision making at executive management level. We act on the global scene, and your skills in English must be excellent.
