We are looking for an experienced Visual Merchandiser to the H&M HOME Lifestyle Business Unit working within the Global H&M HOME Retail Team in our Head Office in Stockholm. You will be an expert in the H&M HOME space for our customers, and drive openings, trainings, workshops and presentation together with us, your colleagues in the Visual and Store Experience Team at HOME. Together with Merchandising counterparts in the Retail Team, you will create the best H&M HOME customer experience in line with the global strategy for H&M HOME. Your results will be seen by customers around the world – so you can really make a difference!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Helping create the H&M HOME Global VM guidelines in Power Point and Adobe Photoshop programs
• Coaching, supporting and planning H&M HOME Concept Store and Shop in Shop openings globally together with Store Designers, Expansion Merchandisers, Operations etc.
• Working in store openings to test presentation guidelines and new interior.
• Increase the concept performance by supporting and adapting the short and long-term sales strategy per concept through presentation
• Seek and secure up to date information and work cross functionally within the Concept Team, Visual Department, Store Design and Expansion Merchandising in order to be up to date with short and long-term strategies per concept, such as Store Size Matrix
• Understand and adapt the H&M Home Brand DNA strategy into your concepts by visual identity
• Find relevant inspiration and information from competitors etc. in order to develop the long-term strategy of the visual identity for the H&M HOME store categories. Keep yourself updated by checking competitors and trends
• Follow up with visual functions within the country organizations
• Create a clear development strategy and timeline of your responsibilities and projects
• Traveling for business regularly to support stores and openings
Qualifications
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
• We believe you are a sales-minded, social, open, communicative and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. You also seek information and work cross functionally within H&M HOME in order to develop the visual identity for your concepts
• You have experience and knowledge of working with Microsoft Office programs; Adobe Photoshop is meritorious.
• Have 2-3 years Visual Merchandiser experience from retail companies within the interior branch.
• Are customer focused with a commercial mindset.
• Are passionate and interested in Interior Design and Retail
• Teamwork and coaching experience needed to work cross-functionally and work in complex work streams and close collaboration with stake-holders
• Have strong planning, organizing and prioritizing skills to manage a high workload
• Have strong communication skills (verbal & written), fluent English is a must
• Experience from Project management within Expansion/Store Openings are of an advantage in this role.
Additional Information
We are looking for permanent addition to our team. You’ll be located at the H&M Home Head Office in Stockholm and will report to Global Head of Visual for H&M Home, Eivor Nilsson. Preferable start date by end of February 2022.
