In this role you will be part of Volvo Trucks Global Brand & Corporate Communication. We are a team of creative, engaged, curious and driven people who values new ideas and prestige-less collaboration across our global organization.
The role
As our Global Web and Digital Communication Manager you will be responsible for volvotrucks.com. The global website is a key touch point in the Volvo Trucks digital ecosystem of channels. Securing a high-quality, premium web presence is of high importance, as it is the foundation for the many market and dealer websites worldwide.
You will be driving the global web and digital content management agenda, ensuring that the website mirrors our strategies, brand identity, core values, ambitions and current offerings. The overall mission is to provide an excellent online experience for our key audiences globally and create a seamless flow between the global website and local sites, as well as a close connection to social media and other digital platforms.
In addition, you will work with digital communication through various channels and platforms, content production, web design and online events.
Monitoring and analyzing website traffic, and keeping track of developments in web technology are natural parts of the job.
This is you:
You are passionate about finding ways to engage in a digital landscape, and to make the user journey as smooth and efficient as possible. We believe that you are creative and pushing the boundaries of web and digital experience. Strong user-first mentality is an important prerequisite for the role.
You are a strategic communicator, with proven skills in web content management, web design, search engine optimization techniques, social media and web publishing. In addition, you are an experienced writer in English, specialized in copy for web and digital channels, and can easily adjust your style to different target groups.
To match this role, you also need to have 5+ years of work experience as a web editor for a global company and a BSc in journalism, communication, marketing or related field.
