Global Welding Expert

We are now looking for a Global Welding Expert to join our Global Production Strategy team to coordinate and drive our global welding operations to the next level. The Global Production Strategy team is a small central team within our Production organization that is comprised of experts with strategic ownership of areas such as Quality & Manufacturing Technologies, Production systems, Continuous Improvement, Digitalization and Production footprint optimization. In this position you will work closely together with the Quality & Manufacturing Technologies Manager and other experts within the Manufacturing Technologies area.
This position is preferably based in Lund, Sweden, but could also be based in Poland or India. It will require travelling approximately 25%.
What you will do
· Act as Tetra Pak global expert within welding & stainless-steel materials.
· Develop and maintain standardized welding methodologies and quality routines regarding welding.
· Supervise implementation of welding procedures in production.
· Be the owner of Tetra Pak corporate welding standards and secure corporate alignment on welding standards.
· Lead the Welding Coordinator network for our Production centers.
· Lead Welding audits to monitor compliance.
· Set up and execute training programs within the field of welding to secure the right level of competence for our global welding and QC staff.

We believe you have:
· Relevant education within Material Engineering.
· 5-10 years of experience working with welding coordination.
· IWS or IWE certification is seen as a big advantage.
· Excellent communication skills and fluent in English, both written and verbally.
· Skills and experiences within project management.
