GPS Operations Team Leader

The role

Leading a small team of GPS Operation Specialists, comprising (and not strictly limited to):

· Ensuring the group’s consolidation system is kept up to date via managing and executing regular functional maintenance and implementing new functionality in the form of operational developments in cooperation with the development team
· Providing advanced support to the reporting process
· Observing applicable change and development processes to ensure reliable and high-quality delivery.
· Taking full ownership of team management (incl. people management, short- and long-term operational planning).
· Representing the team towards internal customer(s) as well as other support teams within GCS.

What we can expect from you


· Experience in gathering functional requirements and ability to translate those into detailed specifications
· Experience in financial group reporting, preferably including legal as well as operational reporting
· Basic knowledge in accounting rules like IFRS and Atlas Copco’s reporting instructions according to FAM
· Required experience at least 3 years in relevant position (functional development/support), team leader experience is a plus

Knowledge


· Fluency in English (written and spoken)
· Excellent planning and coordination skills to safeguard own as well as team’s delivery
· Project management and leadership skills to drive projects and work closely with other teams
· Sound negotiation skills to solve conflicting interests and come to mutual agreement with the business as well as within own team
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, VBA knowledge is a plus
· Basic knowledge of SQL language
· Good orientation in consolidation tools (preferably SAP BPC on NetWeaver), familiarity with SAP products (ECC, BW, SAP HANA, EPM/Analysis for Office) is a plus

Education


University degree in Finance and Business Administration (or equivalent through experience)
Certification in any area listed in the previous section is a welcome asset
