By translating and simplifying complex matters into actions you ensure that the R&D departments are developing appropriate solutions. An important responsibility of yours is to work with development of strategies for the grade area, based on technical customer specification of demands and you investigate what material characteristics are most important to influence the development of innovative cutting tool materials.
You report to the R&D Manager of Grades and the location for this position is in Västberga (Stockholm). Some travel is included in your job.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a master’s or PhD degree, preferably in Materials or Mechanical Engineering. As we operate in a truly global environment, you’re fluent in English, while knowledge in Swedish is advantageous.
We’re sincerely interested in your personality. You’re curious, systematic and patient, and we appreciate that you know what is good enough, yet eager to keep activities moving forward to ensure on-time delivery. You combine a networking mindset with technical skills, and you enjoy a setting were sharing knowledge and supporting your team members are crucial. You have an interest in leadership and project management – eager to learn more and develop within the field. Your personal drive and 360 approach to solving problems also come in very handy. Finally, with your clear and communicative way of working, you set the foundation for good collaborations, both with co-workers and customers.
