Your future challenge
As trainee, you will be part of Aeronautics Product Area Gripen and the Business Management department – mostly consisting of business controllers. Business management is responsible for the Gripen business plan and to present strategic decision material. In the customer contracts, we are responsible for producing financial figures through analysing progress in time, cost and technology.
 You will be responsible for financial reporting, which includes performing and communicating overall progress reports on the financial status in customer contracts as well as taking action on initiatives to improve the results. Another part of your job will be to work in close collaboration with other business areas, customers and Aeronautics Operations departments such as development, production and purchasing.

Are you a future leader?
To be a successful graduate, you hold a Master of Science in Engineering along with a strong interest in finance or a Bachelor of Business Administration in combination with a technical interest. Preferably, you are recently graduated or have approximately two years’ work experience. You are a sales-oriented, innovative and customer-focused problem solver who strive for continuous improvements and have the ability to grasp the bigger picture without losing track of the details.
 As we are looking for future leaders, you must have the right motivation and drive to deliver excellent results. You must show potential for business understanding and strategic thinking. Good collaboration and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to motivate and involve your coworkers. You also need to be a curious and humble team player with commitment and a lot of energy. As Saab is a global company, you need an intercultural mind-set and, of course, great English skills. International experience will be to your advantage.
The position entails working with classified information and requires Swedish citizenship.
