Our Engineering & Development department at Emerson is currently growing, and we are looking to expand our team with an embedded software engineer with a genuine curiosity about radar technology, designing software for both embedded systems and automatic tests of devices.
You will be part of the embedded software team dividing your time between embedded software development and development of test automation software.
In your role you will work with development of embedded software for radar sensors intended for industrial applications.
This includes all aspects of embedded software development, from requirements, concept and detail design to implementation and testing.
In the role as a test automation software developer, you will be creating automation test software to support the ongoing development of products and projects. The choice of tools, technologies and approaches will be wide and varied and you will be able to influence the direction of automatic testing.
The development teams follow a project throughout the projects life cycle, from initial feasibility studies and first prototypes to customer launch.

Requirements
Our New Grad Program welcomes you who recently graduated or have a maximum of one year work experience.
To thrive in this role, you need to be a team player who is communicative and likes to collaborate. We also value that you are eager to learn and want to take on new challenges. You are comfortable in an environment where you will be involved and challenged. You will get to combine your programming knowledge with your problem solutions skills.
In this role we expect that you have a MSc/BSc in Electrical/Computer Engineering or similar. It’s important that you feel confident to explain and communicate technical solutions in a clear and consistent way, in Swedish and English, written as well as spoken.
