This is a unique opportunity for an entry level position within our Experience Design Community of 100+ talented Product Designers. Our designers have various backgrounds, interests, talents and experience. Some might be on the same level of experience as you, while others might be further ahead in their journey. However, no matter the level of experience, we all share the common grounds to learn, share and grow together.

The Experience Design Community within Business Tech at H&M Group is a team of 100+ talented Product Designers. We are expanding on our journey of creating the best possible digital experience, where you have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of fashion.

If you join our community, you will be working tightly with functions across H&M Group, in multi-disciplinary product areas and product teams with people from all over the world. We design experiences in close collaboration with our customers as well as other designers. The Product Design Community is a diverse group with people from different nationalities and backgrounds.

The mission of the Product Design Community is to design a smooth digital experience in all our touchpoints (web, app, digital interfaces in both our physical stores, for our vendors and in our internal tools). We have a global responsibility which means our work impacts millions of users. The H&M brand is our main focus, because of its scale, but our work affects our other brands as well, COS, Arket, Weekday, Monki are some of them. We are responsible for all parts of the digital product design process from early exploration, research, ideas generation and concepts, to making sure we test, tweak and update the design we have released. All with the customer experience as our top priority.
The role
As a Graduate Product Designer at H&M Group we want to give you the best opportunity to learn what it means to work in a global company, hence you will take part in the entire product life cycle. You will be given the chance to research user behaviors and idea generation. You will also visualize and prototype design concepts at varying levels of fidelity, from paper and wireframes to interactive digital prototypes, for mobile apps and web. You will also co-facilitate creative workshops and collaborative sessions with multi-disciplinary teams together with a mentor.
The tasks will vary within the four stages of UX – Design:
• Understand (research)
• Analysis (gathering of data)
• Ideate (brainstorming ideas, workshops)
• Validation (prototyping, mockup, sketches)
In collaboration with Visual Designers, Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders you will be able to grow and learn to become an excellent designer!
You
You are an engaged, open-minded and ambitious Graduate in your final year of university or who graduated a year ago, from either a bachelor's or a master's degree. We see that your degree is within UX design, Human Computer Interaction, or any relevant degree for this position. You have experience of working in Figma or Sketch and are familiar with usability evaluation. We believe that you are passionate about understanding the users’ needs, motivations, and behaviors.
Practical info
This is a full-time position with placement in Stockholm. If you believe that the role is a good match with your background and ambition please apply as soon as possible, but no later then 2nd of May 2022. Interviews will be held continuously. We understand if you are currently building your portfolio, but we would love to see your work so far and warmly welcome student work, so please make sure to include them in your application.
