Description and Responsibilities
We are now offering an exciting position as Project Engineer in the Marine business unit. As part of the Customer Project team you will work closely with the global Sales and Project Engineering team to define and develop tailored solutions for our customers during the bid phase. After winning the order you will be responsible for the project execution either locally or together with one of our marine sites.
As the global center of excellence, the team in Sweden provides extensive support to the Global marine sales organization during project pursuit, technical support to the global project engineering teams as well as supporting aftermarket through commissioning of the systems.
As Graduate Project Engineer you will have the overall project engineering responsibility in all phases of the project. You are the technical expert during the quotation phase, and will play a key function in the most complex projects to support the sales organization and to ensure a feasible technical solution.
Once the order is received, the Graduate Project Engineer has full responsibility for the project execution; to ensure accurate technical data, develop order unique technical documentation, handle the marine classification society application, to ensure that hardware is available for production in a timely manner, and handling the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) when needed.
You will define and continuously improve our procedures and methods for effective data management. This to support analysis, conclusions, and decision making on actions to improve product reliability and meet customer expectations.
Furthermore, your responsibilities are to:
• Plan, execute, analyze, conclude, and report product performance investigations
• Field performance data analysis statistics reporting
• Define and develop presentation formats to build strong messages on our data and conclusions
• Continuous improvement of work processes, tools, methods, and infrastructure relevant for the product reliability team as well as for the company as a whole

Requirements
Our New Grad Program welcomes you who recently graduated or have a maximum of one year work experience.
In this role we expect that you have a MSc or BSc, in Mechanical, Marine or Electrical Engineering. You are very comfortable working in MS Office. Previous experience using 2D CAD tools is a merit, 3D CAD is a strong merit. As we work in an international environment you need to be fluent in both verbal and written English.
We believe that you enjoy collaboration and have phenomenal communication skills since the position has a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. End-user experience, high quality, developing new solutions and curiosity motivates you. Planning and co-ordination comes naturally, and you can prioritize under tough conditions.
