Graduate Software Product Engineer

Description and Responsibilities
We are now looking for a Graduate Software Product Engineer to join our Software Product Management team and be a part of bringing new applications and solutions to market utilizing radar technology and cloud based software platforms. The Software Product Management team manages all software products within the Rosemount level portfolio. It includes configuration and diagnostic software to provide best in class user experience as well as important operator software and mobile/cloud based applications.
In this role you will mainly focus on bringing new products and solution to market within our Autonomous Tank Monitoring and IIoT Solutions initiative. You will have a wide network of internal and external contacts and work closely with our business units and customers to seek and understand customer and market needs. You will collaborate with internal functions such as system architects, UX designers and business solution managers to transform customer and market insights/needs into requirements, user stories and new business models. You will be an important stakeholder to our engineering teams when driving our software products and solution from idea to launch and continuous growth.
Responsibilities
• Identify, create and prioritize requirements and user stories for new products and services.
• Collaborate within Emerson as well as with external partners to develop and launch products and solutions aligned with Emerson’s Plantweb Digital Ecosystem.
• Drive implementation of SaaS / subscription-based applications and solutions business models.
• Be the voice of the customer towards our engineering teams.
• Involved in customer interaction during development phase from proof of concept to launch.

Requirements
Our New Grad Program welcomes you who recently graduated or have a maximum of one year work experience.
To succeed in this role you like to work in an international business environment, you are passionate about new technology and quality decisions, have a strong inner drive for results and are able to combine technology with customer needs.
You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering within data, IT, automation, electronics, engineering physics or equivalent.
We believe you have a big interest within product development and have a passion for UX design/Human Centered Design.
As we work in an international environment you need to be fluent in both verbal and written English, Swedish is a plus.
