Arbetsbeskrivning
Are you a graduate Validation Engineer with high ambitions? Do you want to work on fun, challenging and exciting projects at a forward-thinking product development consultancy ranked as one of Sweden’s top employers? Apply to Knightec’s Assessment Days.
Who are you?
You have recently finished, or are about to finish, a degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent, and are eager to start your career in validation and quality control. You have an interest in life science and working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations such as GxP/GMP, MDD/MDR, and ISO 13485.
It’s a bonus if you have done your thesis, or have had a temporary job, in the life science industry.
As a person you’re considerate and down-to-earth, enjoy working in teams, meeting new people, learning new things, and sharing knowledge. You’re also structured, quality conscious, interested in technical equipment and processes, and a good communicator.
For Knightec, communication is key. Both internally and externally. We think you communicate fluently in either Swedish or English, but preferably in both.
What will you do?
As a Validation Engineer you will be part of a team at Quality and Management, a business area of Knightec focusing on project management, quality assurance, and business development.
Most of our clients are in the life science, automotive, and defense industries. At Knightec we help them streamline, develop, and certify their businesses and products, based on risk assessment, as well as industry demands and standards.
As a Validation Engineer you will be part of a team working on investments and improvements related to lab equipment production. You’ll help draft equipment requirements, develop validation plans, and perform general administration. Verification, validation testing, and deviation management will be part of your everyday work.
Knightec is divided into regions, and you will be working in region East, which covers Stockholm, Uppsala, and Södertälje. You’ll either be based at one of our offices in Stockholm or Uppsala, or as part of a team at one of our clients.
But that doesn’t mean you’ll be alone. There will most likely be others from Knightec at the client’s office, or on your team. You will also have access to Knightec’s digital networks where you can interact with your colleagues, and there will be plenty of Knightec activities you can choose to take part in. Some will be purely social, and some will be aimed at developing your skills, such as talks, courses, and certifications.
What's in it for you?
At Knightec you get to work on fun and challenging assignments in product development. We collaborate closely with our customers to develop long-term solutions, which creates the feeling of working for a product company rather than a consultancy.
You will have a lot of responsibility and freedom, but also wonderful and competent colleagues, and a manager that is present and supports your career development.
You’re also invited to join our project to inspire young teenagers in disadvantaged areas to continue studying, our collaboration with Engineers Without Borders, and Vera, our network for equality.
