Axis is now looking for a Graphical Interface/UX Designerto join our Marketing Communications team here in Lund.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Marketing Communications team is responsible for strategic elements of branding and marketing, ensuring consistency in marketing communications throughout the organization. We produce materials such as collateral, illustrations, advertisements, newsletters, web banners and videos, and are responsible for organizing events. Together with Product development and R&D organization this newly created role will evolve Axis user experience further.

You will encompass planning and executing all aspects of Axis user experience strategy from a visual design perspective as overall responsible lead graphical interface/UX designer.

You will be working closely with other graphical designers, interaction designers, developers and other stakeholders and be deeply involved in planning, concept development and production of graphical interface design paradigms, graphical components and incorporating brand consistency into different Axis interfaces.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you have an academic degree in graphic design, interaction design or similar, and have experience of working professionally as a graphical designer specifically with interface design/digital design on multiple platforms (web, PC, mobile devices, etc).

You should have the ability to strongly and convincingly visualize new concepts, GUI component styles, create mood boards, icons, etc. based on your own ideas and input of others. You should have a very clear and explicit user-centric approach in everything you do.

It’s important that you have a good understanding and ability to learn advanced technology (such as camera/surveillance technology) to be able to see the limitations and possibilities it presents to your work as a designer.

You should have entrepreneurial drive, be able to plan and deliver on deadlines as well as inspire and motivate your colleagues. We value strong communication skills and as teamwork is crucial for Axis as a whole and for our team it’s important that you can contribute with good spirit and commitment in the creative and stimulating work environment.

Strong computer skills with experience and knowledge in 2D design including Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft office (PowerPoint). Ability to visualize concept into hand drawings/illustrations and experience from animation and motion graphics is a plus. Good English skills are essential.
