As Internal Audit Manager you will be accountable for the effective global internal audit structure in Grid Integration and Grid and Power Quality Solution, in alignment with Hitachi Energy Global Quality Audit framework.
The business is in a major transformation where the management systems and ISO certifications will be global. For this to work, internal audit must be managed globally. Since over a year we also have a framework from Hitachi Energy for yearly risk evaluation, self-assessments, and Quality Audits. Therefore, a Grid Integration process needs to be defined, to drive standardization and harmonization and you will be performing this.
The job location is based in Europe.
Your responsibilities
Define and implement the effective global internal audit process in Grid Integration
Together with Hitachi Energy contribute to improvements on the Hitachi Energy Quality Audit Framework
Coordinate audit schedules so that this work and audits from other functions will be performed in a sustainable way for the units to be assessed
Participate and perform internal audits in the organization
Data analysis and KPI gathering, reporting including actions and follow-up on identified deviations to drive process improvements
Constructively challenge the status quo and identify business improvements within this area and relevant processes
Be part of the team making global GPQS ISO certificate happen
You will be reporting to Quality Assurance Manager in Grid Integration and part of QA team
Your background
Hold a master’s degree Engineering school or equivalent
Solid knowledge about ISO standard ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. A plus if you also have experience regarding standards such as ISO 10006, 19011, 27001, 50001 and/or IATF 16949
Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 and other standards
Minimum 5 years experiences in Audit Management
Good planning skills and able to influence in large global organizations
Broad experience in data analysis and to follow-up on identified actions
Involvement in complex cross-functional projects involving an entire organization
You are a system thinker having excellent analytical skills
Result-oriented and able to proactively drive projects to completion
Strong communication skills and ability to manage a large number of stakeholders
Preferably Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt certified
Fluency in English is required, any other language is a plus
You are fully comfortable in the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and Microsoft 365 collaborative tools
