Do you want to be part of creating history in Swedish Space Industry? In 2021, we plan to launch satellites from Esrange outside Kiruna in the North of Sweden. Now there is a unique opportunity for you to be part of the preparation and operation of the new satellite launcher site and the new rocket motor test capabilities currently under construction.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITES
As a Ground Safety Engineer, you will be part of our safety team. Your focus is ground safety in all aspects, spanning from rocket motor tests in our test stands to orbital launches from our new Launch Site. You will be involved in test and launch activities and will develop deep knowledge in rocket motor technology and different test and launch procedures. Together with our flight safety engineers, you will establish and maintain routines for all hazardous activities within the department.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
To enjoy the role as Ground Safety Engineer, we believe you have a master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent. You are an experienced engineer, extra merit with experience from similar roles. You have good knowledge in English and are relation oriented.

LOCATION
We offer a permanent position after 6-months trial period. Daytime 40h/week. As part of our team you will take part in launching and test campaigns which are scheduled outside normal working hours. The position is stationed at our Esrange/Kiruna office. We require that you are an EU citizen and have a Swedish work permit.
