Group Accountant

Group Financial Control is responsible for the Group?s financial reporting and consolidation into financial statements for both internal and external purposes. This also includes responsibility for the Group?s accounting principles. We are now looking for a Group Accountant to join the Group Consolidation Team.

Key performance areas
As Group Accountant you will participate in the Group?s book closings and consolidation processes. You will also develop accounting principles and ensure compliance with existing principles.

Additional responsibilities include:
- Participating in projects regarding both closing processes and accounting principles
- Providing proactive support and services to business areas, reporting units and management functions, in order to continually improve quality and reduce complexity of financial reporting
- Providing training inputs in IFRS and the Group?s accounting principles
- Acting as contact person for a number of companies in order to support them efficiently in all financial Group reporting matters
- Assisting the business areas, reporting units, management functions and Group Business Control in understanding financial reporting data such as the financial implications of possible business decisions

Your profile
You hold a university degree in business administration combined with around five years? experience from working with external accounts and Group reporting/consolidation. Furthermore, you have excellent skills in MS Excel and are fluent in English, both written and verbal. Good knowledge of IFRS is considered an advantage.

As a person you are a self-starter and a take-charge individual who is also an excellent team player. You are service-minded with a global and critical mindset. It is also important that you are analytical and have the ability to handle strict deadlines.
