Job Description
The Group Accountant will become a key player in the Group Finance team. You will be part of a Group Finance function at the headquarters in Stockholm whose aim is to deliver high level support and control in the Polygon Group. In addition to the day-to-day group accounting business you will also support and drive on-going and new project initiatives in cooperation with our 8 business units. Our largest operation is located in Germany followed by the Nordic countries and UK. Other key markets are the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Austria as well as US, Canada and Singapore.
Areas of Responsibilities
*Responsible for Monthly Closings and Annual Report
*Participate in Budget and Forecast processes
*Participate in other Group projects
*Monthly reports to management
*System administrator of the Group consolidation system
*Maintenance and development of existing reports
*Ad-hoc reports
*Consolidation of Excel-based reporting
Skills and Abilities
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience, preferably from group accounting and/or audit
* Experience of consolidation systems, preferably Cognos
* Advanced user of the MS Office-package, especially Excel
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Experience from working in a private equity owned company is a plus.
