Let us describe the challenge we offer
The Polestar Group Finance is in total around 70 people. In Group Accounting you are part of a team of currently seven. The team is responsible for the consolidation of global financial reporting and for providing financial data on consolidated level for Polestar Group to ensure timely, accurate and uniform data to internal and external parties. In this role you will cooperate with colleagues in other business units worldwide, you provide financial expertise and guidance. You will establish the requirements in the reporting from group companies, you will be involved in the development and be a good advisor and speaking partner on matters related to reporting and consolidation.

Working in the Group Accounting department gives you a big opportunity to a wide circle of contacts within the Polestar Group, working globally and cross-functionally, as well as getting a comprehensive view of the financial activities within the group. You will also work with the core business of the company and combine the accounting with the operational view of the business.
This position is located at Lindholmen, in Gothenburg.
What you'll do
* Preparation of group monthly financial closings
* Preparation of group account reconciliations
* Improve efficiency in monthly closing process
* Review and analyse subsidiary monthly financial reporting
* Preparation of Group Annual Report and Quarterly Reports
* Extensive contact with subsidiaries and shared service centres
* Guide the organisation and shared service centres on accounting related matters
* And other tasks typical in a group accounting department
Who you are
To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:
* University degree in Finance
* At a minimum 3 years relevant experience from similar tasks at a Group Accounting Department
* Strong IFRS accounting knowledge
* Strong experience in excel
* Strong analytical skills
* Experienced user of Finance Systems
* User experience in SAP and consolidation tool AARO is an additional bonus
* You may have previously worked either at subsidiary level or at group level.
