Are you our next Group Accounting Manager?

We are seeking a seasoned Group Accounting Manager to play a pivotal role in our finance team.

As a Group Accounting Manager, your responsibilities involve overseeing, managing and leading the financial accounting and reporting functions for all Breas legal entities within Breas Group. You play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of the group accounting team, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to the overall success of the organization through effective financial management.

This position is based at Breas HQ in Mölnlycke, Sweden.

Main responsibilities

Team Management:

• Lead and supervise a team of accounting professionals in Sweden.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Financial Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the group.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with team members to gather financial data from various entities within the group.

Consolidation:

• Manage the consolidation process, eliminating intercompany transactions and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Work closely with subsidiaries or business units to gather necessary financial information.

Internal Controls:

• Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Implement control procedures to mitigate risks and prevent fraud.

Audit Coordination:

• Coordinate and manage the external audit process.
• Interact with auditors, provide required documentation, and address audit findings or recommendations.

Communication:

• Communicate financial information and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure a clear understanding of financial performance and goals.

Training and Development:

• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and share relevant information with the team.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other teams within the finance department and across the organization to achieve common goals.
• Work closely with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide support.

To be successful in this job, we believe that you possess the following requirements and skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional accounting or finance certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years working experience in financial accounting and reporting with international environment.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role including experience as a senior accountant, accounting manager, or a similar position.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and Swedish accounting standard is a must
• Familiar with accounting modules in ERP. Experience of JDE is a plus.
