The very exciting role of Group Accounting Manager is out on the market! We’re looking for an experienced Group Accounting Manager to join the global Finance team in Stockholm. YOUR CHALLENGE
The main purpose of your role as Group Accounting Manager is to be responsible for the Group’s consolidated legal report, the bookkeeping for the Swedish parent holding company, one foreign subsidiary as well as the consolidated annual report for Swedish parent company and the Income Tax Return.
You’re part of the global Finance function, based in our Stockholm office. This role includes collaboration within the global Finance teams, with the internal Navision team, auditors, foreign accounting firms and banks. You will report directly to our CFO.
Main tasks, in summary:
- Ensure a timely monthly reporting from subsidiaries according to set time plan, reconciling intercompany items, monthly consolidation in AARO as well as compiling a monthly legal report
- Ongoing bookkeeping in the Swedish parent holding company and its foreign subsidiary
- Transfer pricing
- Leading the project of the Group Annual Report
- Present requirements for the ERP system Navision together with the Accounting Manager for Daniel Wellington.
- Participating in projects for improvements and implementation of new processes In NAV and AARO
- Manager for the Accounting Manager in Daniel Wellington and for accountants in foreign subsidiaries (currently four people)
- When needed being back-up for all Finance teams in Daniel Wellington/foreign subsidiaries, i.e. supporting in daily accounting questions etc.
WHO YOU ARE
- A minimum of three years with relevant experience from a similar role in an international Group is required
- MSc in Economics with focus on accounting ranks high on the wish-list, as well as add-on courses in group accounting
- Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
- Experience from AARO is required
- Experience from the ERP system Navision is required
- Excellent Windows/Office skills
- Had direct reports in previous roles is a big plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Structured - you know what to do and when to do it
- Not territorial or concerned about prestige, able to jump in and help where needed
- Taking ownership and working proactively rather than in retrospect
