One sport that welcomes and unites no matter what gender, age, race, religious belief, sexual orientation, or ability. As spectators, yes. But more importantly as practitioners.
The sport of padel is the fastest growing sport in the world and therefore, we are looking for an experienced Group Business Controller to join our team at LeDap Group.
As a Group, we are at an early stage but with an aggressive growth ambition. Your responsibility will be to strengthen and develop a well-functioning reporting structure to secure successful padel operations both in Sweden and internationally.
You’ll be responsible for
· full P&L responsibility from top line and gross margin to OPEX and EBIT.
· support and follow up BTB sales, revenue control as well as weekly and daily
management of the utilization on courts.
· develop, manage, and analyze key performance drivers to offer proactive business support and key insights to the management team.
· analyze and prepare of monthly reporting to the Board of Directors and Management
team.
· lead and implement forecasting processes, target settings and presentation of the Groups consolidated forecast.
· linking strategic initiatives to financial effect by driving the budget process from planning, high-level targets to individual budgets per center.
· provide the management team with financial understanding and insights to drive and
enable data-driven decision making, as well as challenge and validate their business case assumptions.
· identify, develop, and enhance ways of working, processes, and tools in the organization and the Business Control team
You’ll be reporting directly to our CFO and become part of our LeDap Group finance team, consisting of five colleagues. We believe that business control is a vital part of the finance organization and its support, insight into profitability drivers and cross-functional collaboration is of great importance to enhance the future financial success of the company.
To become successful in the role, we expect that you
· hold an academic degree within a relevant field of study such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or similar.
· have 3-5 years of experience from Business Controlling.
· can manage several stakeholders simultaneously and can easily communicate financial information to non-finance people.
· have strong analytical skills and business understanding and enjoy influencing and
being a part of the company’s development.
· experience from M&A and/or companies with an aggressive growth agenda through acquisitions
· have a pragmatic mindset when analyzing large amounts of data and the ability to
effectively communicate findings and root causes to the organization and management.
· excellent knowledge of Excel and ability to easily understand business systems and tools.
· are motivated to dive into details, but never lose sight of understanding the big picture and proactively propose changes
· fluent in written and spoken English.

We offer an environment where every member in the team is equally important to support stakeholders with insight and accurate financial information. Further we believe in great amount of flexibility, but you should expect some travel activity primarily within Europe in relation to work.
