The Group Business Control team mainly supports the Sandvik Group's CFO and CEO by providing timely and accurate analysis as well as managing Sandvik's mid- and long term planning process. To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a talented and ambitious Business Controller who enjoys working in a global setting, where analyzing and managing complex and challenging matters are part of daily operations. The location for this position is at Sandvik?s head office at World Trade Center in Stockholm.
Job Summary
In this position, you support the Vice President of Group Business Control by taking a lead role in production, development and quality assurance of the required analysis products and key processes. You take an active part in developing and producing core deliveries such as analysis reports and memos covering outcome and planning for the Group and the Business Areas and consolidated performance tracking of Group initiatives. Your tasks also comprise developing and managing processes for performance management, including mid- and long tern planning; performance reviews; developing analytical capabilities in Sandvik's IT system for business, planning and consolidation to support and facilitate business analysis; and assisting key stakeholders with ad hoc analysis and driving key projects aiming to develop Group common finance processes and/or ways of working. You are also involved in the process of producing and delivering sections of the Annual Report.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in finance or business with at least three years? experience from working with business control or other relevant field of finance such as accounting, financial control or management accounting. Experience from developing performance management processes and performing advanced analysis in Excel and in Saqndvik's IT system for business, planning and consolidation, are considered advantageous, as are experience from working with senior stakeholders and project management. Your skills in Excel are very strong, and as our business is truly global and you produce communication for our executive management, your skills in English must be exceptional, both verbally and in writing.
