Your mission: As part of the transformation of the Group Purchasing and Supply Chain Department, two Category Buyer positions are created at the Euromaster Group headquarters. Thus we are looking for:
A Group Buyer - Heavy Vehicle Tires Category
A Group Buyer - Light Vehicle Tires Category
These two permanent positions are to be filled as soon as possible.
Reporting to the Group Procurement Manager - Tires & Vehicle Maintenance, you will be responsible at European level for your category of products and for our whole integrated and franchised points of sales, of the entire procurement process from consolidation of sales requirements up to contractualization and management of the supplier relationship.
You will work in an international environment.
Your main missions will be:
Management of procurement category:
- Consolidate Business Requirements from Country Sales and Marketing departments, with the support of regional buyers.
- Build category strategy ensuring optimized purchasing leverage in line with the company’s financial objectives and value proposition.
- Animate the category purchasing commission in coordination with the regional buyers and the Country Sales & Marketing departments.
Sourcing and supply operations:
- Conduct tenders, negotiate and contractualize with European suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships (monitor performance, challenge terms and conditions, define progress plans) in a sustainable and fair manner.
- Ensure continuous support to the Supply Chain teams to guarantee product availability and optimize the stock quality / quantity.
The value proposition, the competitiveness analysis and the risk assessment on the managed category are also key dimensions of the Group Category Buyer position.
Your profile:
With a Master degree in management or purchasing (business school or university), you have more than 5 years of experience in Tire purchasing for an international player.
Sales profiles with solid experience in the sector of activity could be studied. You are an expert in negotiation and supplier relations. You are recognized for your business orientation / understanding. You act easily as a team member within an international matrix organization. Your ability to influence and impact, as well as your excellent communication are essential assets for your success.
You are fluent in English and with a good level in French.
These two positions are located in France - Clermont-Ferrand. Regular business trips are expected in Europe in order to guarantee proximity to local markets and players which are developing Euromaster value proposition in the field.
