What you will do?

Your main objectives as a Group Category Manager are to lead the new organizational structure and the Group Category team of 4-5 direct reports while maintaining the Category Management agenda and focus on the Integrated Stores Nordics. This is a key role which require a strategic mindset as well as a will to work on an operative level when required. You will also interact with many different stakeholders both internally and externally which requires extremely good communication skills.

Your main responsibilities include:

* Lead and co-ordinate the team from a business- and people development perspective
* Develop, manage and implement category strategies to ensure that customer needs are met, and sales and margin targets are achieved in all Nordics store.
* Develop, manage and implement category strategies to ensure sales and margin targets are achieved for our wholesales business FHK (Färghandelskompaniet)
* Develop team reports and secure a professional sourcing and negotiation process for the team
* Drive active participation in cross country category and procurement initiatives on a European level
* Keep yourself updated regarding category insight and market understanding
* Identify and manage own brand opportunities, including development of space management and assortment effectiveness in the Integrated Stores
* Work closely with our marketing department and E-commerce manager to develop product promotion programs, ensure a good mix of customer offers, monitor and evaluate performance of Stores

This is a permanent position, reporting to the Head of Stores Nordic. The position is placed on our site just outside Malmö.



Who you are?

You are a professional within procurement or category management with a broad understanding of a retail or trade environment. You have at least three-year experience of leading, motivating and developing teams to meet demanding objectives. Business and key financial understanding are essential. We believe you have an adequate degree within procurement, supply chain or in the commercial area. Business experience within retail and marketing related to the coatings Industry is an advantage.

As a person you have interpersonal and influencing skills that can handle multiple stakeholders in a complex environment. You are able to keep a business focus while driving multiple projects simultaneously. You have exceptional communication and presentation skills in both English and a Nordic language.
