Group Consolidation Controller

Sandvik is a global industrial group with advanced products and world-leading positions in selected areas - tools for metal cutting, equipment and tools for the mining and construction industries, stainless materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials as well as process systems.

We are now looking to integrate a Controller from any Sandvik entity into the Group Consolidation team. This position is a three year assignment as we would like to increase the team diversity and effectiveness to relate to Sandvik globally.

Key performance areas
As Group Consolidation Controller your main responsibilities are:
- Participation in compiling quarterly and annual accounts for the Sandvik group
- Compilation of material for the Annual Report and official Quarterly Reports
- Continuous work with Group accounting and issues regarding the reporting of these accounts
- Acting as contact with reporting companies
- Being responsible for a specific area of revision
- Participating in the Group's common activities (i.e. training and work with Group Assurance)
- Contributing to different internal projects affecting the accounting and financial organization

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Finance and good accounting expertise, combined with experience in both accounting and reporting processes, IFRS and Sandvik Governance structure. Certified experience of Group Finances and analytical experience within large company finance are requirements for the position, as are prioritized specialist competence within specific accounting areas and good understanding and knowledge of IT-based accountancy systems. Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are a prerequisite for this position.

You are a team player who gladly takes the initiative when needed, are good at identifying problems and have the ability to resolve them. Finally, you are used to working with deadlines and you have the flexibility to change objectives and priorities when needed.
