For a new role, playing a significant part in the analysis of our European performance, we are looking for a

Group Controller
You will be a key player in the continuous development of our analysis and budget structures and have a vital role in our short and long-term financial planning.

The position is based in Gothenburg and reports to the Head of Business Control.

What you'll do

You will overview the full European picture on both a monthly basis and of course also our more long-term financial outlook (yearly and 5+ years). You will be working in close collaboration with the business, controlling, accounting, and reporting teams as well business office.

From a controlling perspective, you will be responsible for the P&L structure, budget material, business plan material, and more, for all our seven markets.

With the financial foundation in order, you will simulate different scenarios, analyze, package it, and present it to key stakeholders within the company: what is behind the numbers.

- Lead the monthly and yearly closings from business control as well the European budget and forecasting process
- Continuous development of working tools, Power BI, and more
- Ad-hoc analysis


What you bring

- Solid financial knowledge from a similar role as Group Controller in “commodity flow”, multinational retail, or general wide-ranging industry experience.
- Experience with multiple legal entities in different countries
- The ability to handle substantial amounts of data in a structured way to find opportunities (and one or two problems) from different perspectives.


You also have strong analytical abilities with the capability to communicate complex information in an easy, understandable, and engaging way.
