Group Controller
We are currently seeking a business-oriented Group Controller with a focus on management reporting to join our headquarters. You should thrive working at a group level in an international environment. This position will play a key role in developing operational reporting as well as strategic and operational analysis to improve decision-making for Group Management and the Board of Directors.
Key responsibilities and activities:
Responsibility for producing and developing the report package for Group Management, the Board of Directors, and for ad-hoc reports.
Drive and develop Bufab’s performance measurement process and tools.
Provide operational data for quarterly reports and basis for annual reports.
Develop and implement reporting and analysis models.
Build strong relationships with various stakeholders, work across functions, and challenge the organization when needed.
Drive Bufab’s strategic 3-year plan and budget process.
Drive Bufab’s financial forecast process.
Drive Bufab’s investment process.
Drive digitalization and automation in Group Finance.
Participate in various group-wide improvement projects.
Support general corporate governance activities.
Support the Group Accounting function and the transfer pricing process when needed.
BUFAB is a decentralized organization. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy working independently and close to the business while being a crucial link between regional and parent companies. Understanding the Group's business model is central. In your team, there are an additional 6 colleagues. You will report to the CFO, and the position is based at our headquarter in Värnamo or at our office in Gothenburg.
Your experience:
The ideal candidate has a university degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent, along with several years of relevant experience in controlling/FP&A roles from multinational groups or consulting firms. The role requires fluency in English, high flexibility, and the ability to work towards deadlines in a fast-paced organization. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of Cognos or similar consolidation programs, as well as Qlik or PowerBI, is an advantage.

You need to have an international perspective and the capacity to drive change. You have a good sense of organization and structure, and the ability to navigate international business contexts. The role is broad with many cross-functional contacts, and the right candidate must have a customer, service, and solution-driven mindset. You also have a deep interest and knowledge in systems and IT. You enjoy meeting new people and find it easy to build relationships. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
