Group Controller – ESG & Financial Compliance

Experience Desired: At least 8 years of experience in financial and non-financial reporting, controlling, or auditing for large or mid-sized international companies.

Work Supply is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Group Controller – ESG & Financial Compliance. In this role, you will combine traditional financial consolidation and controlling with a critical focus on ESG reporting, particularly related to the EU Taxonomy. This is a newly created position, where you will lead compliance with emerging regulations and work closely with the company's ESG team.
Your duties:
Lead group financial consolidation and controlling with a dedicated focus on ESG reporting, especially the EU Taxonomy.
Collaborate with the ESG team to ensure the successful implementation of new reporting requirements.
Develop sustainable reporting frameworks that align with regulatory demands.
Serve as the key expert on the EU Taxonomy, interpreting complex regulations and integrating them into the company's reporting processes.
About you:
Significant experience in group financial consolidation, reporting, and controlling, with a strong interest in ESG reporting.
A relevant financial qualification (e.g., Master’s degree, HD in accounting, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of consolidation and financial reporting. Knowledge of CSRD and the EU Taxonomy is a plus.
Proactive in leading ESG and EU Taxonomy reporting implementation.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders across the organization.
Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a broad strategic perspective.
Fluent in English, as the role involves working with colleagues globally.
