The Role
At Rebtel, we are proud of being on the forefront of bringing useful and innovative tech products to people all around the world who have crossed a border and moved to a new country. Coming from a background of providing international calling services, we now help our customers transfer value and connect in many different ways across national borders.
With growth and a wider range of products comes the increased need for a strong finance organization. We are therefore looking for a Group Financial Controller to join our team. The position is new so there is a great opportunity for you to form the role. There are key processes (consolidation, reports, tax, and financial analysis), which you will be responsible for, but there will also be many additional opportunities to develop in various areas like treasury and ad hoc projects like fusions, implementation of financial systems, or acquisitions. You will work closely with the CFO, the finance team, and support with various tasks and analyses. We believe that you are a positive and curious person with a strong analytical mindset who is eager to learn and enjoys working in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Monthly closings with focus on group consolidation
Monthly and annual reports
Financial control and analysis, e.g. cash flow
Income tax declarations
Annual audits
Lead and take part of ad hoc projects, e.g. acquisitions, fusions, implementation of financial system

What we seek

Academic degree in Finance or similar
5+ years of relevant work experience
Fluency in Swedish and English
Strong skills in consolidation and annual reports
Work experience from listed companies
Experience of IFRS
Strong system knowledge, including Excel

Additional appreciated experience

Treasury and foreign exchange
International tax
Worked in tech, telecom or financial services
